(This is a fanfiction made based on two of my friends (also my band members) Zane and Blake (these are their cover names for obvious privacy reasons))

Blake: The most popular guy in his year, is in a relationship with Vanessa; The most popular girl in his year. A few months into the relationship, Vanessa is smitten for him, but Blake doesn't feel the same way. Infact, he starts to fall out of love for her. Blake thinks they'd be better off as friends, as he has a deep secret not even his friends could know...

Zane: Blake's best friend, notices the change in Blake's behaviour with Vanessa. He doesn't think much of it, until he sees the drastic change in Blake. Zane seems sad for Vanessa, but he feels something else too... Happiness? For as long as he could remember, he's had a crush on his best friend, but always assumed he was homophobic, and loved their friendship more than anything, so kept it a secret.

Zane and Blake were supposed to hang out at his this morning, but Blake didn't show up. Infact, he was late, but kept on avoiding Zane. He was worried he did something wrong, or did something bad without realising. So when lunchtime came, he scavenged around the school searching for Blake. The gigantic field, basketball court, the halls, everywhere, but to no avail. Just as he had given up, he went to the library for some silence, just to see the person he was searching for...Stressed..?

What will happen with Blake's relationship? Will he dump her? Will Zane confess his undying love to Blake? Or will things take a turn for the worst?..
