*2nd disclaimer: this is half an AU and half not. This story is a reimagination of when the characters go to college (I made it highschool) after the war with Gaia. BUT the only difference is, they've never been to camp and they've never had any wars or anything. It's like a peaceful parallel world (I know, I know) where NYC, Long Island Sound and Manhattan are protected from monsters.*

Piper McLean lives in New York. Due to her failing grades, she has to go to an after school study club every night at 5pm. To get to the very small town hosting this study club, she has to take a train for about half an hour.

One day, she arrived thirty minutes late at the small train station after the study club. She noticed a blond haired boy sitting on her bench. Piper had this nagging feeling that somehow she knew him.

It turns out the boy is her crush, Jason Grace! They become friends but when Piper returns to high school after summer break, she realizes that what she felt for Jason the year before has turned into something else... As she slowly starts to like someone else she realizes that Jason too seems to lose interest in her and things get complicated.
