Soyoung's family had always been involved in mystical matters. One of the reasons why she left them behind as early as possible. She is finally able to fulfil her dream and opens a small café near an idyllic nature reserve.
But the quiet village can be anything but quiet. Stories are told of monsters that rule the woods at night and rob people of their sleep.
Soyoung soon finds herself confronted not only by eight exceptionally handsome men who find all sorts of dubious reasons to want to get to know her better; her past also seems to be slowly catching up with her.
Is it just a coincidence, or is there a connection between these events? Soyoung gets an answer to this question sooner than she would like, and it leaves her feeling anything but relieved.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
