Sam Wilder is a 29 year old set builder who finally has a career break. She's asked to fill the vacant place of a set builder of a movie who suddenly became ill. Sam always wanted to work for a big movie.
On top of that she discovers that Cate Blanchett is playing the lead role in this movie, the one actrice Sam has a fangirl crush on since she was 16.
But Cate isn't herself and struggling with personal issues that make her grumpy and not focused in her acting. Will Sam brake through the depressive thoughts of the famous actress because of her upbeat and sometimes peculiar behavior?
