This book is a fan fiction of the movie, Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe (2011) especially focusing on the character: Comandante Veracruz who is played by Pedro Pascal. 

Veracruz is the leader of a rebel group in Columbia, who is secretly working with a corrupt general to overthrow the government. Veracruz is known for his mean, cold demeanour and intimidating personality. He has never pursued any relationship since his only mindset is his job. 

However, when one of his normal work days turns into something different... A female gets onto his territory which confuses him and the others. They are wondering who she is and what is she doing in dangerous circumstances.

He handles the technology and security for the club. He is also tall, dark, smart, and devilish sexy. The type of man Ryder wants and maybe needs. Without any leads or evidence of the militia group ever being there or not. He is ordered to find evidence against the Sons of Silence to force the MC to cooperate. After meeting and starting to fall for Tech, he just can't seem to make he follow that order. Is he going to betray Tech?
