Cook Children's Little Firefighter and BFFs VS Ewing Sarcoma Fire

Hot shot is a playful and active five year old. He lives with his father Heatwave and his mother Quickshadow. They live in Fort Worth Texas. His father Heatwave is a firefighter and his mother Quickshadow is a pediatric nurse who works at Cook Children's hospital. Hot shot is a very kind, gentle, loving and generous little boy with a big heart. Hot shot dreams of either being a firefighter like his father, or baseball player, or a zookeeper who works with rhinos or something in the medical field like his mother. In early May Hot shot begins feel unwell. He is tired, he has a painful lower left leg, he is limping, he has a fever, and soon there is a huge lump on his shin. His parents take him to his pediatrician who sends them to Cook children's hospital. Hot shot sees a special doctor in the hospital. The doctor does all kinds of tests on Hot shot. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma a type of bone cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together.
