Her family tragically died in a car accident just 2 months ago and Angel has been trying to forget all of the sad baggage that she came to forget. She moved to New York City to start a new life. One where there isn't all those sad memories. What will happen when two world's collide together? Will Layla's fate end up becoming Angel? Or will Layla's life kill Angel?

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?"
