This story is not meant to be a remake or confused with my first Wattpad story Sonic.EXE:The Nightmars back in 2022. This is a Sonic.EXE AU. Its kind of like Sonic.EXE story about Tom but much differen't. This is a whole new Sonic.EXE storyline. Sonic.EXE fan fiction to be exact! The story takes place with Max getting a strange copy of modern Sonic The Hedgehog game unaware of the horrors on it that will make his worst nightmares true.

Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Thankfully, he found a light that led him to another plane of existence through his Ideya of Courage. From there, he meets a mystical jester who would take him on a journey of self-discovery, and reflection, and ultimately save himself and all of the Night Dimension along with the Waking Realm.
