She never got to see her sister again. She never apologized for not dying with her parents. This wasn't how she wanted her life to go!

The black haired girl cringed as they repeatedly took turns beating her. One man took the liberty to scatter dirt in her wound. Her skin gushed as another stomped her open gash. She cried out but no one wanted to listen.

She couldn't take anymore. Other people  just passed by the putrid scene. They weren't going to help her. No one desired to help. She was only a child. It was just one loaf. She hadn't eaten in days. 
Soon the little girl realized she was really alone in this crude world. But the spirits weren't done with her yet.
