Maeve Grimes grew up having a crush on her brother's best friend. Shane was always around, even when Rick distanced himself from the home they endured so much in. He was her protector, she could always rely on him. When the dead start living, she finds herself in a safe space with the ones who make her feel the safest. Can they come together and survive the end? Will the crush come back and be reciprocated?
*Won't follow the show completely. Some scenarios will be very close to the show, while others won't be!*

Shane is an under - written about person, for good reason but in this story, he's not half bad. Also will be following the storyline loosely but changing up some things to keep Shane and maybe others still in the story!

Hi guys! So I personally am a huge fan of Shane Walsh! He's def an underrated character, which is such a shame. But when I'm a fan of someone I like to read fanfics about them. Well Shane, nor Jon have a lot of fanfics or finished fanfics. So I decided to start one myself :) I hope you enjoy! Im a girl named Harper grimes and this is a story on how my life went from. Amazingly great to confusing, heartache betrayal and just plain old horrible. Ps. I also have a tiny crush on my dads bestfriend.
