GENERATION X SPIDER-MAN (Issue #24)

"FANTASTIC FOUR"
After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story. This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better. In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

Another potential tragedy was averted when Spider-Man was able to fend off a fleet of malfunctioning drones during an exhibition at Oscorp Tower. This time the amazing costumed hero had help when Mary Jane Watson was able to deactivate the dangerous unmanned flying vehicles. In the wake of this terrible fiasco, Harry Osborn was left wondering what exactly went wrong with his Drone Defense Initiative project.
Gossip has spread like wildfire throughout the hallways of Midtown High School! Rumors of a romantic liaison between Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker has garnered the attention of the many teenagers in the suburban school. For her part, the beautiful and intelligent girl feels torn. Her relationship with boyfriend Harry Osborn and her deep connection with Peter Parker continue to dominate her thoughts. Meanwhile, the students of Midtown High School continue to wonder what will happen next.
