Torihime is an Initiate of the Daughters of The Sky--- an elite unit of female warriors sworn to protect the mysterious empress of Sorakuni, and the sole remaining people able to Become Air: to assume the birdlike form of the goddess with which Torihime shares her name. However, when Sorakuni is attacked by an aggressive country to the south, Torihime must put aside her training and help protect her land at all costs: no matter what secrets she may find along the way.
