Hailey is insane. She finally realises it when she finally takes in the reality of everyone else. She sees there’s more that making everything okay for her and her little inanimate objects. She sees the people around her are better than what she ever thought. She sees her fears as the walls that have stopped her from growing. She sees friendship; she sees a new faith inside her growing. She sees family. She sees so much. There is no excuse for never trying Author's note: I'm pretty sure there will be mistakes that will appear and repeat throughout this, since I honestly didn't try my hardest to read it over again in such detail to pick out all the mistakes (still tried, I'd like to add). I hope there won't be any harsh (as the majority of the wonderful internet say) 'grammar Nazi's' on here, though I may need the heads up to improve it. I am sorry for the mistakes and i hope that it will still be understandable. Please let me know if it is not understandable at all -.-, stop me before I get worse! Tah. Number27 X

Senior year had never seemed so daunting. After her sister died, Avery found out just how much she hid behind Riley and how comfortable it had been to live through her stories instead of living her own. Realizing that and making a change, however, were two different things, as Avery soon understood. But life had not given her much of a choice. Maintaining a safe distance between herself and all those who used to know Riley was her miserable attempt at dealing with the grief. But she saw her strategic plan crumble, forced to face the friends she had been pushing away. The year she believed she could breeze through was revealing itself to be the year she must face all the pain she had been repelling. And there was no one to hide behind now.
