a young goat demon refuses to let his demon known as kokoras take control over him to prove that the abuse isn't gonna change anything and they should stop as all his brothers had died due to this. he wanted to prove they didn't have to die to get away from the pain, but...was it actually worth it in the end? was it really worth being beaten to almost being dead, seeing those who you love die to your own hands, crying to yourself every night because of the pain, being forced to kill innocent souls...was it all really worth it to prove some people wrong?

This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! I am actively working on getting my drawings in the chapters! and I use modern (not American) time and measurement increments so that nobody has to go and google it just to keep reading lol A GENERAL TW: there is gore, SA, torture, just in general gruesome stuff but it's all part of the story line and things WILL get better, there is both a ton of hurt and a ton of comfort so do not worry!
