But when she senses darker minds lurking towards The Lonely Mountain, she seeks out an old acquaintance, Gandalf the Grey. He is worried by her discovery and advises her to join the company 13 filthy dwarves and a hobbit on the journey home towards the mountain. She is aware, though, that the dwarves not only seek to get their gold back, which she, as it comes to an end, do not mind, but they also wish to slay the ferocious huge "male" dragon Smaug. They had not expected to make the acquaintance of a woman with golden eyes. Everything belongs to the rightful owners. Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. A routine patrol escalated and Aearon soon found herself separated from her brother and the rest of the Teleri forces, pursuing a group of dark creatures that tormented her lands. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure.
