She felt several stares traveling over the scar running from her left temple to her jawbone and shuddered as they came to rest on the mark beneath her jawbone. She is a Guardian, a dragon keeper, and she was responsible for Smaug's escape from his chains and the fall of Erebor. Raine joins the Company upon Gandalf the Grey's insistance that she would find redemption, but then the Dwarves find out about her past. They had not expected to make the acquaintance of a woman with golden eyes. Everything belongs to the rightful owners. No matter what what it will be brought to an end and if the gods wish there might be a sequel which will follow story in Lord of the Rings

So when that true love is found, it's dangerous to avoid it.
