The Dreamers (Editing)
I couldn't stop trembling even more now. I calmed down a little more and checked my arm again. I was correct, I wasn't hallucinating. On my shoulder was a tattoo. It was a character of some sort-- in a different language. It looked like it was Chinese mixed with Islamic calligraphy. The skin around my arm was red and irritated. The symbol stuck out like a vein. I hyperventilated. I thought I was going to have a panic attack. I had to sit there, on my bed, and command myself to calm down. "I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming. This isn't real," I whispered. I checked the mirror again and searched all over my body to see if I had any other markings, but so far this was the only one. I shut my eyes, trying to force myself to wake up, but this was real. And for the first time, out of all the panicking, my vision went black.Complete

I walked another two more steps and before I could take another step,someone grabbed me vigorously by the shoulders and placed a cloth on my nose and mouth. I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible. #2 in Horror. /02.23.16/ I hear footsteps approaching me, pacing faster and faster making me look back quickly. I see a man in a black fabric mask wearing all black clothing. I widen my eyes beginning to run in the snow making my feet heavy. "Help! Somebody help me!" I scream in a cry looking around to find nobody on sight. "Help!" I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night." Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?"
