It's 1826 in Victorian Era London and the next social season is approaching quickly. Soon, blossoming debutantes shall attend their first balls in search of a suitable husband. Every young lady must be on her best behavior, elegant and polite, carrying herself with poise.

And if you should get so lucky, you might just find a perfectly suitable match, much to the delight of the mothers who simply thrusted their daughters onto the marriage market.

But one girl has no ambition to marry, on the contrary is content to sit in the library and read. A spinster is what she'd become, yet the bright-eyed girl hasn't a single urge to put an effort into finding a match. Vowing to never allow a man to catch her attention. Not even when a certain young bachelor comes onto the social scene, causing all the young ladies to swoon and dream of being the one he chooses.

Shockingly, circumstances cause the two individuals to find themselves caught in a dance of love and romance, quite unlike anything the city of London has ever seen.
