{ Sixteen ultimately gifted students have been invited by their professor (and school headmaster,) to a dinner party as a thanks to being such a great class.
They were invited to the "Rose Resort," but upon arriving it is clear something is...different. The place is covered in clown decorations, and it feels like they're being watched. What makes matters worse is their professor unfortunately dies amidst their meal!
With the doors locked and no sign of help coming, they head to the resorts bedrooms to take shelter. After waking up, they are told a killing game has begun inside the resort! If they can't trust each other..and maybe even themselves, will they possibly be able to escape with their lives intact? }

I silently weeped into my hands. Of all people, why me? Why did I have to be... in a... killing game? (Authors note: Yes, this is a Fanganronpa. But it is not connected to the Danganronpa series. So no, there will not be another "Junko Enoshima" or a reference to "The biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history". Also, there will be no Hopes Peak Academy. Heads Up: This is a Next Generation AU for the series Danganronpa. A prestigious school, one that carried respect and praise; it is said that attending the school would grant you a successful future, whether that be money, fame, or status. The students represent the future of the world, their titles as Ultimates representing the hope that followed our future leaders. Satoshi Ikusaba, the Ultimate Strategist, had a plan on how his first day would go- he made sure to prepare for ANYTHING that could happen. Breakfast before school? Check. School supplies ready? Check. Getting him and his step-sister to school on time? Check. Passing out at the front of the school and waking up in a weird hotel with no idea how he got there? Check... Except the only problem is that the last bullet point wasn't on his list, or even something he took into account in the first place! Soon enough, an international school was created, Tamatsukuri Academy The school took inspiration from danganronpa's "Ultimate" school system and decided to do the same. Although, it was much healthier and better since both the talented and talentless can be in the same class and look beyond their differences. Things didn't go as planned though. The students got trapped inside a killing game. They had been given one basic rule as its cornerstone: to escape, one would have to get away with killing a fellow student. As the game progresses, our protagonist, Dahlia Sasaki soon finds herself learning a harsh lesson.
