To say Emily Anderson was surprised when she got a Pulitzer for her opinion piece titled "The Downsides of Having Superheros" would be an understatement. To say Emily was downright floored when she got offered a job in her dream city New York would be an even bigger understatement. She is 24 when she lands a job at the Daily Bugle and starts work as the resident "Superhero Editor." Emily is hesitant about her new boss and colleagues, especially about her partner-in-crime photographer, Peter Parker. She gets suspicious when he gets photos others only dream of getting and when he starts disappearing randomly. Emily becomes increasingly intrigued by Peter Parker so she has to juggle her job and finding out what the hell he is up to.

Nor do I want to lose everything we've built. But most importantly, I do not want you to lose more than just your father." Miles's frown deepened as he pulled his hand back. "Then you know why I can't lose him." You met his determined gaze, your frown mirroring his. "Touché..." you admitted softly. "But now you understand why I must stop you." Peter Parker, an orphan who's been in the system since he was 3 years old, he's now 15 and has no hope of finding a family accepting the fact that he's going to be there until he's 18. He doesn't believe in happy endings, he doesn't believe he deserves one. Peter finds that the one thing he always wanted more than anything but never thought have he'd get, he finally has. A family. But will he let them in? What happens when they find out he's SpiderMan? What happens when he's in the worse place he's ever been in? Will his new family be able to save him? Will he get the happy ending he doesn't believe in? Sorry I suck at descriptions. Trigger Warning: Drugs, Anxiety, Self harm, Depression, Eating disorders, Suicidal thoughts, mentions of rape.
