SUMMARY:
10 years ago, a gang known as the Grandmasters invented a drug that led to the deaths of countless lives, but disappeared before they were caught. Now, they have returned, claiming their drug grants "superhuman abilities" to whoever survives its deadly side effects. Spiraling into an epidemic and the police rendered powerless to stop them, the government creates a program called the Survival Game, which uses the drug and its unnatural powers against its enemies.
The four participants: high school students Ryou Nakahara, Kouji Kawakami, Kris Aramaki, and convicted serial killer, Yuriko Shimamura, are all selected after gaining the special interest of government aid, Azumi Kimura. As the four of them undergo rigorous training and brutal missions, they unravel a long decade secret regarding the Grandmasters and even their closest family aren't safe from the consequences of this deadly game of chess.
