Magic and Mistrust ~ Mattheo Riddle

Madelyn Cromwell transferred to Hogwarts a couple of years ago when she found out she was a witch. Her only goal is to learn; no friends mean no distractions, but that all changes when her charms teacher asks the class to get into groups of four and a strange boy can't seem to leave her alone.

Mattheo Riddle has been treated differently his entire life at Hogwarts, all because of his father. He spotted an interesting girl; he was sure she wasn't the type to judge, and she wasn't until she realized who she was talking to. She quickly learns one of his secrets and Mattheo has to fight for her silence. He is determined to get on her good side, but she doesn't seem to like him very much.

I finally realize who I was talking to.

I get up, shocked that I held a conversation with him for this long.
"You're scared of me," He guesses.
"As if,"
"Admit it, Gingerbread,"
"You wish, Cinnamon swirl,"
