Soft ghosting, or slow fading, is when someone stops replying to your messages little by little. Breadcrumbing is when someone sends you just enough messages to get your hopes up, but not enough to progress the relationship.

Love starts with being strangers to friends to lovers and ends with lovers to strangers.
Bakit kaya ang daming na ghost ngayon? Yung tipong nasa no label relationship ka, lagi mong ka chat yung tao. Lagi mo ka video call, ka text, ka tawagan pero nung na attach ka na, bigla nalang hindi nagparamdam. Feel me?
Yung gabi gabi mong tinatanong ang sarili mo kung anong nagawa mo kung bakit hindi na sya nag cha chat Sayo, bakit hindi na sya nagpaparamdam sayo. Yung pati halaga mo natatanong mo na.
Ayaw niya lang ba talaga sayo o ayaw niya lang mag commit?

Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. She's mesmerized by the beauty of the moon, but she also needs to see the beauty of the sunset. "Sunset is breathtaking, right?" Rose said while looking intently at sunset. "No, the moon is much more beautiful than the sunset." Rachel said it while looking at Rose. * "No, please. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me, Rose." she's saying it while her knees are on the ground and holding her hands. "Let me go. I don't want to see you right now, Rachel," she said while looking at the sunset and silently crying. Unti-unti, bumibitaw siya sa mga kamay ni Rachel at tumalikod na pilit pinapatatag ang kaniyang nararamdaman. On the other hand, Rachel is looking at the sunset habang ang buwan ay unti-unti nang nagpapakita. Dito, hindi niya maiitanggi na mas nagustuhan niya pa rin ang buwan kaysa sa sunset. "Hindi ko talaga gusto ang sunset." she cried again while looking in the direction where she couldn't see Rose anymore. Paano nga ba mag-move on? Hanggang kailan mo mararamdaman 'yung sakit na paulit-ulit mong tinatago sa bawat ngiti? Hanggang kailan mo tataglayin 'yung bigat na ayaw bitawan ng puso mo-kahit gusto mo na ring makalaya? Ang hirap, 'di ba? Hindi naman kasi madaling mag-move on, lalo na kung 'yung isa... masaya na, habang ikaw, naiwan pa rin sa gitna ng mga alaala. Para kang naglalakad sa ulap na puro "sana," "bakit," at "paano kung." Ako nga pala si Vince. At ito... ito ang kwento ng isang taong natutong maghilom, dahan-dahan. Isang taong muntik nang sumuko sa sakit ng pag-ibig, pero piniling bumangon pa rin. Tatlong taon na mula nang maghiwalay kami. Oo, tatlong taon-pero bakit parang kahapon lang? Samahan mo 'ko.
