The Extra heartbeat | A kataang story

6 years after the events of Sozins Comet,Aang is now freshly 18 and a half with his birthday being a few days away. A few months ago aang had went on a Enlightenment trip with king kuei and had been gone for 2 months now, this had taken a toll on Katara since it's the first time they've been separated after the war but the couple wrote to eachother everyday and him being gone had given Katara more time to focus on her water bending and healing. With Aang coming back in a few days The Gaang is excited to celebrate the young Avatars birthday as 19 is a pretty big milestone and Aangs nothing like the naive 12 year old boy in the iceberg, he's changed mentally, being smart, wise, strong. Not only has he changed mentally but physically he's taller, lanky and muscular now, the main person to notice this change is Katara as she pays attention to every little thing about her boyfriend. As they get ready to celebrate Aangs 19th birthday in the fire Nation Kataras called to Ba sing Se to heal a strange new sickness outbreak, stopping Aangs birthday plans to travel but on the way there things unfold.
