Someone knows what happens in the future, and it's not looking good.
For some reason they decide to keep it all hidden. .
Spending most of their time on training, avoiding meals and sleeping less and less.
The rest would be confused as to why they are acting like this.
One of the ninja even tried figuring out what was wrong. Staying awake and training with them, just to make sure they aren't alone. After a while, the other told them, but obviously wanted it kept a secret. And they agreed. . After some time of the two arguing.
Until. . The vision ends up true.

Jay and Nya are just in a park enjoying their picnic together as a lovely couple until they get attack by some bad guys that are all wearing black. They're attacking Nya and Jay and there fighting them back. One of them were gonna shoot Nya in her back and then Jay sees this so he runs and pushes Nya out of the way and Jay gets shot and dies.... The strangers left and Jay was dying in Nya's arms. He told her something then just like that Jay's electrical blue eyes were gone they turned grey, his smile for once in his life was a blank face. Nya cried and cried. She finally snapped out of it and carried Jay home and told the others. She thought that they could help him but they couldn't it was no use. Nya cried and cried in Kai's arms. It's been almost a year since Nya left the team and merged with the sea. Ever since then Kai and Jay have not been the same. None of the ninjas have. But most of the others had learned to move past it. While Kai and Jay still have their moments of Grieving. Wu was worried about them. She could tell that they still were affected by her "death". Though she was still physically alive, the Nya they knew was no longer there; the Nya they loved was dead. But Wu's worries only grew when he left one day to go do his smoke visions in a more quiet and peaceful place. The other ninja had left to go do some work in Ninjago city while Kai and Jay stayed behind. The two boys recently have been near each other often. They seemed to be discussing something but none of the others would know what. As one of the others comes over they keep their mouths shut. Wu sat by the fire and meditated. How he would love to be able to see what has been going on in the two students' heads, but there was no possible way of doing so. He hummed as his smoke visions started to appear. Everyone was as happy as could be as expected but then the visions slowly started to darken... He awoke again with a small burst of panic but quickly calmed down, he knew to keep them safe.
