Sonic has happily transitioned from Soraya to Sonic and he couldn't be more satisfied with his life.
Plus now he's got Shadow, his amazing and supportive boyfriend, to be there for him.
All of his friends are supportive and Sonic is finally feeling comfortable in his own skin.
Events occur like Rouge's and Knuckles's wedding, and a party where Surge finally gets with Maria, Eclipse meets someone, and...Shadow proposing?!?
However, all the happiness of their marriage will soon fade when enemies from Sonic's past decides to come to the wedding party and kidnap Sonic.
And while in captivity the hedgehog learns of something he's completely scared of, and he slowly spirals back into his state of mind when he was stuck as Soraya.
Shadow's on the verge of losing his mind after his husband is taken, but he gains some help from some family and friends and unlikely allies.
Now as Sonic slowly figures out his escape, he's going to have to choose whether he's going to put his happiness first, or Shadow's...
