Louise knew it as she looked into his fiery red eyes that he was the wolf in her dream, even as she heard her wolf declare him as her mate.

'Lorde is my mate! Lorde is the Alpha!'

Louise couldn't believe it. It was more frightening than surprising to her.

Frightened, she fled.

Lorde stood watching his mate, Louise run away from him. His first thought was to go after her, but he didn't.
