Long ago the balance was maintained by the Avtar master of the four elements However during the 100 year war The avatar Aang vanished when the world need him most as a result the spirits became angry and choose a new Spirit Guardian who would restore peace to the world at any cost. The fight was costly but in the end Tanya Degurechauf Guardian of the south led Shou-long to victory and established the grand empire. Order was restored But i still wonder at what cost.
