Redeemable?

What if Gregory never had Freddy's help because not only did he not go to Freddy's green room, but he was also mind controlled too? Freddy, his friends, the security lady, and rabbit lady were all after him. It now seems that Gregory wasn't going to survive now. Wasn't until he decided to reach a low part of the pizzaplex that he encountered another animatronic. What if he instead helped Gregory as a way to not only help him, but use him for his own means. Once he is done using him he'll get rid of him easily. But, there's one very little problem: He didn't think he'd get attached to the boy as he thought, why does he feel like he lost memories, and why does the boy remind him of someone he once knew from a long time ago?
