A tearstained Isabelle Lightwood ran down the streets of New York, one hand holding her whip, the other furiously wiping away tears. Her boots clattered against the road. Not many saw her, for she was glamoured to hide from the mortal eye. But those who did knew to keep their distance from Nephilim. And she was undoubtedly Nephilim. Everything about her simply screamed Shadowhunter.
Her eyes, her weapons, her clothes, her look of sheer determination that dominated her beautiful features.
