Josephine Sterling and Michael Schmidt have been through some of the most stressful moments of their lives together, and now it's time to do it all over again. 

After another job request from Mike sends Josie on a mission searching for the missing spirit of his old companion, she finds herself knee-deep in a trauma story that feels awfully familiar, but for all the wrong reasons. 

With limited time and a woman's life on the line, Josie must call on the spirits she has already rescued to save the one she hasn't reached yet. 

But not all spirits can be saved. And sometimes, they just don't want to be.
