A Red Widow Spider is born after an experiment! Robo Mantis is an untameable SCP. They terror the town and even fight the cops and military trying to end their reign. Later, it looks like they go up against each other. It's Biology vs. Technology, venom vs. lazers, Predator vs. Prey, Green and Yellow vs. Black and Red!

I'd just been living in the Philippines and found something magical and beautiful there. Most of the names of people and locations originate from Filipino words in the Tagalog language. For example, Mahingga, the name of the of the island where the story starts, means "rest" in Tagalog. I wanted to the story to be funny and adventurous with a sense of wonder.
