"Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be back in my arms again, sweet girl?" I heard her ask. Her voice was low, soft, almost sweet. But I could tell the danger that was hidden beneath the words.

With a hard swallow, I shook my head slowly. Because no, I didn't expect to be caught in Jade's arms again. Not after I ran away.

She chuckled darkly, her plump lips curling into a sinister smirk.

"Don't think about ever leaving me again, or next time it won't be so pretty, doll."
