One year ago, humanity faced near extinction due to a devastating zombie outbreak. Among the survivors was Ajena Lawden, A brave survivor in a world overrun by zombies driven by determination and desperation to find her pregnant sister, Ariela, from whom she had been separated.

"Good morning, little Az. Did you sleep well?" Ariela's voice is both comforting and shocking. Az? Is she talking to me?

Ariela lifts her out of the crib and gently rocks her. This has to be a dream. I can't be... a baby!

Peter enters the room, grinning. "Look at you, Az! Such a strong little guy!"
