At the age of 15, Jeremy's world was turned upside down when his parents were brutally murdered. The shock and trauma of this incident left him with a single-minded desire for justice - he wanted to find the person responsible and make them pay. But the case was not an easy one. Despite the best efforts of the police and investigators, there was a lack of evidence, and the case was closed after only a week in court.
However, Jeremy's determination never wavered. He spent the next two years searching for any clues or leads that could help him find the killer. He poured over police reports, interviewed witnesses, and even conducted his own investigations. He was driven by an overwhelming sense of anger and a deep desire for revenge.
Despite the passage of time, his emotions remained raw and intense. He couldn't shake the feeling that the killer was still out there, walking free while he suffered. The thought of the murderer living a normal life while his parents were gone fueled his desire for justice even more.
Now, after two long years of searching, Jeremy was still no closer to finding the killer. But he refused to give up. He was determined to find the murderer and make him suffer for what he had done. Turns out his fears were well founded as people appeared in the room, wasting no time grabbing him and his father. He had to watch in horror as they killed his father in front of him and set up his body as a suicide. They soon brought him to the magic dimension to see the extent of his powers and test on him. Luckily he made friends with Joseph Grandsire who frequented the lab and underlyingly hated what they were doing. After a year, Joseph was finally able to get Caleb out and through a realm gate. TLDR; Caleb arrives at a place full of people with super powers given the name "Supers". He later finds out that they are being tested on like he was and wants to help as much as he can. Caleb is definitely a troubled child. Alone, with nothing going for him, he attempts to take his own life but fails at his first attempt. He desperately wants to try again but is put under constant supervision, especially by his new doctor, Dr Palmer. Dr Palmer becomes more and more involved in Caleb’s life, trying to help him see that his life is worth living through various methods. Eventually, the two build up a trusting and understanding relationship and Dr Palmer allows Caleb to do things that his parents would have never have let him do so soon after something so tragic. Caleb gets his life back on track, enrolling at college and even meeting a girl whom he used to know as a child. The two of them begin to date each other, and everything seems great for a while. That is, until Caleb remembers the reason that he tried to commit suicide in the first place, revealing a secret that shatters his new found confidence. As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide. However, they are just trying to build a case against his father. In desperation, Caleb tried to reach out to Dr Palmer, against the advice of his mother. As his life spirals out of control, Dr Palmer makes him realise that the only way he can carry on is to come clean and reveal his secret.
