Spending his whole childhood in a vault was boring, to say the least. At 7 years old, he knew everyone's names, birthdays, what their favourite comic was, who was dating who, who was popular, who wasn't. It was a boring existence, albeit a safe one.

Daniel, he was born in the vault and so he will die in the vault. 

Whose to say he was born in the vault though?


This might be my first actual story, same universe as my other story sooo...ya never know.

The world has seen many technological advances since the end of the war between Ukraine and Russia, which was both a blessing and a curse. He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers; however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts.
