After the departure of the three siblings, the Smiling Critters find themselves involved in a dangerous adventure outside of PlayCare; threatened by the Rejected Critters, who seem to want to finish them off and take over the leadership of the group.
Despite the plans, something seems to be wrong with the Smiling Critters; The group is greatly weakened and they do not seem to understand each other. Different problems are making their bonds weaker, almost breaking apart.
Will they put their grudges aside and end up defeating the Rejected Critters?
Or one misstep may lead to their downfall?

...The Nightmare critters, a DISCONTINUED opposite version from the Smilingcritters, but instead they were sent down and replaced with frowning critters since they were deemed too 'scary'. Nightmarecritters were soon forgotten from the public, living under the Smiling critters home in the rubble of their own town. Baba would still go up to watch the critters sometimes, missing her old friend Dogday. And Catnap, who had the green light to hangout and be apart of the Smilingcritters instead of the Nightmare ones. Soon though, Baba gets an unhealthy love/hate obsession, and begins going on a VIOLENT emotional and physical rollercoaster. But as Baba starts to bring back Dogday's memories of the past, everyone soon remembers the fake world they're stuck in....

I was reading a fanfic for the Smiling Critters a while back, but the original creator mysteriously stopped uploading... So I got impatient and decided to take matters into my own hands. I'm uploading it here so I can collect feedback (and praise) on my work. I hope you like it! Dogday and Catnap have been best friends for the longest time. However, after he has an unusual prophetic dream, he resolves to win the heart of a mysterious boy he meets at on their first day. When ''The Smiling Critters'' got added into playcare, there were only seven of them: Hoppy Hopscotch, Kickin Chickin, Crafty Corn, Bobby Bearhug, Bubba Bubbaphant, Picky Piggy, and DogDay. Before they got added into Playcare, they went through a series of tests to check if they really got what it takes to take care of children in an orphanage. After a few weeks of getting used to eachother, they heard the intercom turn on with a man behind it telling everyone that the ''Smiling Critters'' was a HUGE success, and that they have an announcement to make to all of them. ...And what they heard shocked them all... So with the two new scents of Lavender and Valerian. Will they all get along?
