To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation.

What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave?

Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. 

She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart.

This clan gave birth to some of the most talented witches , seers , and healers the world had ever seen . The power of the thirteenth clan was so strong it almost threw the planet back into the dark ages of violence and death , but the council settled on an agreement. The third child of every generation of the strongest family from the Thirteenth zone would be gifted to whichever clan was meant to rule the planet at that time through marriage. Their husband would picked by the land though a ceremony over seen by the gods and Mother Nature on the special child's 18th birthday. Her hand in marriage would give her husbands birth clan the power to rule the entire planet for the next 50 years until a new Special third child was born and married off to a different clan . This tradition worked to keep the peace spreading power equally for several decades among the 12 zones until now. 17 year old Elin from the famous 13th territory was one of the most gifted and beautiful girls to be born yet and this year would be her accession ceremony what happens when it doesn't go as planned ?
