In his childhood, when he was 17, Grian's friend Scar had suddenly disappeared. There was no sightings of him, nobody heard from him, nothing for 15 years. Scar had worked at a forest park when he had gone missing, and it was safe to assume that's probably where he went MIA.
So, Grian moves back home and gets a job there after being stuck in a town full of hurt. Maybe with his new knowledge, he'll be able to find Scar. Or maybe, just maybe, he'll go missing too.

Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense.
