In the quiet corners of our hearts, where emotions bloom like flowers in spring, lies the essence of poetry. It is here, amidst the whispers of our souls and the echoes of our dreams, that words take flight and emotions find expression. Welcome to this sanctuary of verse, where every line is a brushstroke on the canvas of the human experience.

Within these pages, you will embark on a journey through the myriad landscapes of the heart. From the depths of sorrow to the heights of joy, from the shadows of doubt to the radiance of hope, each poem invites you to pause, to reflect, and to feel. For poetry is not merely ink on paper; it is a mirror held up to our lives, reflecting back the beauty, the pain, and the wonder of existence.

As you delve into these verses, may you find solace in the shared humanity of our stories, may you discover solace in the rhythm of our shared experiences, and may you find inspiration in the power of language to heal, to uplift, and to connect. For in the words of the poet Rumi, "Poetry is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life."

So, let us embark on this journey together, guided by the gentle cadence of words and the timeless melodies of the heart. For in the realm of poetry, there are no strangers, only fellow travelers on the path of understanding and grace.

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. Perhaps under this layer of melancholy, the girl I once knew still exists.    First poetry collection in the series. Original poems based off real life experiences. #12 in poetry.
