The Jedi Rebellion had been squashed with the Clone troopers executing the Jedi. Unfortunately, the so called "Jedi Rebellion" had caused some casualties. The Empire was cementing its place as the new government of the galaxy, and with it comes a new senator of Naboo. The senator will help transition Naboo from the Republic to the Empire, but not without a few challenges and secrets of her own. Not only did she have to juggle her new duties as senator, but also her grief that threatens to consume her at any moment. She will meet a certain squad of deserter clones along the way, but are they friend or foe? Can they help her heal and teach her to move on, or will she simply self-destruct on herself and everyone around her? These deserters seem to bring trouble whenever she's around. The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
