Rica Lacuesta is a diligent student of San Roque National Highschool, with her passion in writing, she want to be a famous Journalist someday. With her outstanding performance in school and academic achievement, she also want to study in Ateneo University, one of the prestigious school in the Philippines. Despite of the poverty their experiencing she never give up her dreams. In her family she's a dependable daughter to her parents and a true fighter in life. She believe in a saying;

"Life is a battlefield, you need a weapon to fight and to live"

In their barrio, they called her "Ikay" because of her happy personality and approachable aura. A simple woman yet full of love in her soul with those smiles that captured the heart of thier kabarrio.

But behind those smiles is a girl who's in vain inside cause of her ultimate crush.
