Despite every single odd stacked up against him, the marine somehow manages to survive the dangerous, alien-ridden facility and, after being detained by the ever-so elusive G-Man, is then suddenly assigned a mission many years later...

Accompanied by Chara Dreemurr, the first fallen human turned apparition, the two journey through the Underground civilization for one, very specific goal... but what exactly was it? And was that all there was to it?
