It's been 3 years, 6 months, and 32 days since the last episode of Total Drama: All Stars premiered in Toronto, Canada. Gwen is in her senior year of art school. She has her life in check, a stable job, and friends who will always be there to comfort and support her. She works as a barista at the local coffee shop that her friend's mom owns.

On the other hand, Duncan has been out of prison for the past year. He has been working at his brother's mechanic shop, trying to earn money to finish his college degree. With his heart still broken from the breakup and his love for Gwen still strong, he tells himself he will never love another again. That is until the fated pair meet again.
