Hawkins, IN...November 1983... In this small town, where everyone knows everyone, is suddenly hit by a chain of strange events. First, the disappearance of the local boy, Will Byers. The town forms a search party, which is led by Sheriff Jim Hopper, but what started as a search for a missing child, became the opening of dark secrets and supernatural mysteries. Will's best friends, and partners in crime, Dustin, Mike, and Lucas, all search out for Will in their own efforts. As they search the area where Will was possibly last spotted, they hoped they would find more of their friend's whereabouts. But what they found...or shall I say...who they found was far more than they expected. Eleven and her older sister, Five, both escaped the clutches of the 'bad place'. Hawkins Lab. But after their exploration of civilization, they become separated during a horrible rainstorm. Eleven found 3 boys while Five found Deputy Jace Hopper, Jim Hopper's nephew. The mystery of these two girls begin to unravel the veil that Hawkins Lab have struggled to keep hidden from the town for so many years.
