Emma Carpenter is a classic example of a nerd. She does her homework, gets straight A's, reads all the time, and never gets in trouble.
Then one day Emma gets detention with the one and only Dylan Evans. You could say he's a bad boy. He punches anyone who pisses him off, sleeps around with every girl he meets, doesn't attend school, and is in trouble 99.9% of the time. And of course Emma can't stand him. During detention there teacher assigns them a project for them to do together over the next couple of weeks. Emma is furious.
So what happens when Emma soon realizes there is more to Dylan than that meets the eye?

This is a spin-off story from "Now You Are Mine" involving the backstory of a "Drew" character. Even though this story is connected to NYAM, you don't have to read both of them. Parts of those two stories do intervene and they share the same timeline. I suggest you read them both, but again it's not crucial for understanding each one of them. Also, the story is not suitable for those younger than 18 since it includes mature scenes of sex, violence, abuse etc., which are not by any means condoned by the author. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him.
