Will they be able to fight the intense attraction, each time the island finds a way to bring them back together? What happens when the plane goes down-and you survive the impossible? When Oceanic Flight 815 crashes on a remote island, Valentina Shephard surfaces from the wreckage-dazed, bleeding, and searching for her brother. A psychiatrist trained to steady other people's minds, she now has to fight to keep her own from splintering. Years of living in Jack's shadow, the weight of their father's expectations, and the ghosts of a marriage she fled-none of it matters here. The island doesn't care who you were before. Thrust into chaos, Valentina does what she knows best: takes control. She grounds strangers in shock, forces order where there is none, and refuses to let fear undo her. What she doesn't expect is Sayid Jarrah-disciplined, watchful, and haunted in ways she recognizes too well. Drawn together in the wreckage, their connection is undeniable, though survival leaves little room for trust. But the island is not just wilderness-it is mystery, danger, and something that feels like destiny. As science collides with faith, and survival becomes more than just finding food and shelter, Valentina must decide: how much of herself can she hold onto... and how much was she meant to lose the moment the plane went down?
