Decades after that fated first meeting in the hotel lobby, the player finds herself in the world where everything started. Her name doesn't matter because, ultimately, all the power and decisions are up to him: the man who made a gamble of his own life only to realize the futility of it.

Because, at the end of the day, gambling is for the weak; the numb; the lost. And Aventurine has long said goodbye to this way of life. For he is the man blessed by Gaiathra Triclops; the man who was born to have it all.

So why should it matter if a few worlds get destroyed? What if the Aeons and their people get mad and try to stop this? No one can change the fate of the universe, and Aventurine finally knows how things are going to go.

Everything will proceed according to the bigger plan... if only he finds a way to preserve this truth.
