"I'd never wanted to have emotions." Chishi Tenshi of the Hidden Leaf most certainly did not want to feel emotions. She enjoyed her rather bland existence. While on a mission, Chishi discovers she's wanted by Akatsuki, and she's not happy. After escaping the deadly duo formed by a certain Uchiha and shark-like man under the guise of a comrade, Chishi makes it home, only to realize that Akatsuki isn't going to stop looking for her. Chishi has to make a decision: leave to join Akatsuki, or stay and have them destroy the Leaf? She leaves, but only for the sake of her younger brother, Haru. As a Tenshi, Chishi's bound by certain rules, many of which have to do with demons, angels, chakra, and masks. Of course, Chishi doesn't know all that many of them. Her frustration and displeasure isn't something she shows, but she's easily read by the master of emotionlessness himself: Itachi Uchiha. Chishi isn't sentimental, but there's something about Itachi that makes her willing to start showing her human side.
