What the truly renan part means is that he's like the other Renan leaders, don't worry, he will have a redemption arc. Also this story starts after Ganabelt Valkyrie was defeated.
You were Ganabelt Valkyrie's second in command.
Alphen, Shionne and Rinwell have defeated Ganabelt and freed Cyslodion from his control. When they + Law were about to leave Cyslodia you ran into them and asked for forgiveness, since you didn't do anything to serious they forgave you and then you asked to join them on their journey and you agreed to join them.
When Alphen said they were all heading to Menancia that terrified you. Dohalim wasn't the most powerful Renan lord and you weren't worried about that but the fact that Dohalim is the Renan lord thats the truest to the Renan nature and that makes him 1/3 of the most feared lords.
You told this to Alphen and the others but they didn't seem worried as they had already defeated Balseph and Ganabelt.
