Well, would you look at that? The Great Zapfish has disappeared once more. At this point, that's not a shocker in the city of Inkopolis. What is shocking is that multiple idols have suddenly vanished alongside the Great Zapfish. Even the Judds have gone missing! With so many big players vanishing from the scene, Inkopolis has devolved into a crime-riddled city. The streets are unsafe, and gangs rule almost every part of town. With Inkopolis in such a state, the people will find their heroes in the form of two octoling brothers, Sal and Cal. Both have no redeeming qualities, and neither have achieved an admirable feat. They're a bunch of nobodies! Yet, they're Inkopolis's best shot at restoring order, as well as weeding out the sinister evil that lurks within...

He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. Or would their city population be washed away for good? _________________ This story takes place after the events of Octo Expansion Hi and welcome to my 2nd book! First of all thanks for reading this and I hope you'll stick to the end and find the story entertaining. Secondly, I am a big fan of Splatoon though I am still a bit of a newbie to it. Most likely I could miss out on certain details so don't hesitate to point those out to me. I'm also open to any more suggestions to improve this fanfiction. To make matters worse, it doesn't quite seem like the citizens of the City of Colors are too keen on helping out, but what can a guy do? Somebody's got to get the job done. A fan-written retelling of Splatoon 1's single-player mode. Nintendo owns all of these properties, none of this is mine, but since it is fan-written and Splatoon isn't known for its riveting storytelling, some creative liberties were taken to hopefully provide a better experience.
